End Of Weekend Celebration.

Another successful weekend in the books. Even though two of my best friends went home, we still managed to have a good time without them. Christina, Emma, Tia, and I spent the weekend together fooling around. Friday night was spent in downtown Eau Claire at South Dewey. Once the Drunk Bus dropped everyone off, the party was in full swing. The music could be heard throughout the entire house and the door was constantly being opened with new faces coming and going. Though the entire house was packed, it's always a sense of relief seeing familiar faces at house parties. After finally making my way down to the basement, I found my friends near the beer pong table and began to relax. The rest of the night consisted to dancing with my best friends and catching up with friends. Saturday afternoon was spent with my dad grocery shopping and going out to lunch. Though I wish I was closer to my family, it is always nice when they decide to come visit me for a few hours. Just like every car ride with my dad, we turned the music all the way up, rolled the windows down and sang to the music. I love spending time with my dad, so seeing him was a very nice touch to the weekend. Saturday night was spent with the girls roaming the city. Instead of taking the drunk bus tonight, we decided we would try out the new Lyft system. Thankfully we ended up with Pete, who was in his mid 30's and shared some of his life lessons with us. His biggest advice for us four girls was to never settle for anything less than what we deserve, regardless of the situation. Following our "tour" around Eau Claire with Pete showing us his favorite bars, restaurants, and other stores he dropped us off at the basketball house. Since we had never been to this house before, it took us a few minutes to figure out that the "house" was four separate apartments and the house we were going to was in the back. After getting in the house, Wil welcomed us with a huge hug and told us to get comfortable. Though the party was kind of small, we figured that since they were all upper class-men that they knew how to have a good time. Mixing in throwbacks and current music, everyone in the room was singing along and having a good time. The night finally came to an end and we headed back to the dorms. Today at breakfast, we relived last night and laughed about all the silly things we ended up doing. Half way through the night, I found yellow sunglasses and wore them the rest of the night. Unfortunately, the rest of today will be spent in my room studying for my history midterm that I have on Tuesday. Praying it goes well since I am not the best when it comes to German history!!! Can't wait to celebrate Hannah's birthday next weekend, until then .... XOXO
