Sunday Fun.

With the weekend coming to an end, I look back at how blessed I feel to be happy and comfortable at Eau Claire. I am so unbelievably happy with the friends I have made and my success during my freshman year in college. During high school I didn't have that strong group of friends that I do right now and I don't think my freshmen year would be the same without them. Today I spent my entire day with my friends exploring Eau Claire and doing homework. The morning started out by walking a mile or two to Starbucks with Hannah and Christina. Reliving the weekend by sharing different stories and memories, the walk felt like nothing. We all agreed that Friday was the better of the two nights due to the fact that everyone was tired Saturday night after the first day party. Reliving memories from the crazy night, I can't believe that we made it out of the house alive. The house was packed wall to wall, with everyone bumping into one another. After ordering our drinks we headed back to campus to get a start on our homework. With all of us having three or four hours of homework each, we grabbed a table in Hilltop and cranked it out. Occasionally cracking a joke or two, we were all focused for most of the time, which is shocking. We are a very social and chatty group, so sometimes it is hard to be focused and serious when we are all together. After three hours passed, Christina and I decided to take a study break and go rollerblading around Eau Claire. We both agreed that walking down the hill would be better than potentially dying going down the hill. Running down the hill with our blades on our hands, we could not stop laughing. Whenever I am around Christina I feel like I can bring out my inner child. I can be as silly and crazy as I want and I know she will not judge me. With the sun beginning to set, we headed up back up the hill to meet the rest of our friends for dinner. Though I know this weekend was a tease of spring, I can't wait for spring and all the activities we will be able to start doing again.
