It's The Weekend.

The weekend. The phases that everyone lives for. Or at least, that college students live by. We push through the week in hopes that the weekend will make up for all the stress and homework we are faced with. This weekend was filled with unforgettable memories with some of my closets friends. Reaching almost 50 degree weather was just the beginning of my weekend highlights. Friday, the girls and I had a night in and watched movies and ate popcorn. Though it looked like there was a lot of things going on, I think all of us needed a break from going out and just staying in and relaxing. As usual we took pictures, rotating in to get pictures with everyone. What seems like a five minute activity, somehow turns into a thirty minute process making sure that everyone is okay with how they look. Following our small photo-shoot, we turned on Shameless and tuned out the rest of the world. I think we all enjoyed staying in one night, even though none of us really said it. Saturday morning came around I spent the morning starting my never ending homework. I am not sure how I am able to rack up so much homework within a day or two, but I spent almost three hours working on homework. I don't enjoy spending my Saturdays working on homework, but I would much rather spend my Saturday afternoons doing homework than all day Sunday's. After finishing up my homework and eating dinner, we got ready for the night and headed out at 9:30 pm. The drunk bus was packed full and I could barely hear myself think. Thank god Wayne, my favorite bus driver, picked us up and let us ride around on the bus until we had a place to go. The night was spent with my best friends dancing in some random person basement and singing our hearts out to the music. We didn't get back to the dorms until around 2 am, but it was well worth it. Like they say, "Time flies when you are having fun." I am thankful for another memorable, fun filled, weekend with my best friends and hope this week does not kill all of our asses like it did last week.
