You can't always connect a word with this feeling. Being stressed is draining, both emotionally and physically. Recently, I found myself in many stressful situations that were out of my control. Which is the worst part. Not being able to control the situation, especially in negative situations, is very hard on someone. You want to make the best of every situation, but sometimes that's not possible. For myself, I don't like being in negative situations and would rather make amends, than hold grudges. Keeping up with school work, finding time to spend with friends and to relax, attending sporting events, and completing your best work are just a few of the things that are continuously stressful. Everyone deals with stress differently, but for me, it is the most helpful to write a To-Do list and cross things off as I go. Though, I know I am not going to be able to cross off everything everyday, but crossing off an item gives me a motivation to keep going. Another way I deal with my stress is finding at least 10 minutes, every two hours or so, to give myself a short break in order to regenerate and get focused again. This semester I hope I can manage my stress in a positive way and keep the drama out as much as possible.
