19 Candles && Mona's

Just like that another year has passed. 19 years of memories and crazy stories I have created along the way. Every year on my birthday, I am reminded by my dad and grandma how my dad took me out of the hospital room right after I was born. Being the rebel my father is, he decided it would be okay to bring me out of the room and show me to the rest of my family that was waiting eagerly outside the room to meet me. My grandparents and aunts and uncles were dying to see me. I was the first grandchild on my fathers side and the youngest grandchild on my mothers side. Over the past 19 years, my family has grown even larger and I am extremely thankful for all of them. Walking to and from class, many greeted me with smiles and "happy birthdays." Looking back on the day, there was never a moment where I wasn't smiling. My friends made sure that I had an incredible day and that they were able to spend the end of the night with me. After cleaning the room, Emily and I had people over to celebrate my birthday with me. I have never seen so many people in one room on a Monday night. There was barely any walking space and with the lights being off, it made it a tad more difficult navigating through the room. Around midnight everyone gave me one more hug and head back to their rooms to sleep. Just like that my birthday has come and gone. Cheers to my 19th birthday and being one year closer to being in my 20's!
